…An In-depth Review

Gus’ Place Resort is the perfect resort for family outings, fishing trips, and relaxing vacations. You can find this quiet resort on the shores of Ball Club Lake, surrounded by the Chippewa National Forest.

Due to being federally owned, the land around this resort has almost no development, making it a paradise on earth.

Gus’ Place Resort is very capable of catering to you and your group. 10 lakeside cabins, 15 hook-up RV camping sites, and 4 camping sites, all with electricity and water.

Along with the catering to your stay, you also have access to a sandy swimming beach, kids’ playground, volleyball, tetherball, and horseshoe pits. This will ensure that anyone, regardless of age, can enjoy their time at Gus’ Place Resort.

To get here, you can take a 9-mile drive from Deer River. If you are traveling from Minneapolis, it’s 233 miles north.

They are known for Walleye fishing and quality service that gets people to come back every year.

Cabins At Gus’ Place Resort:

Gus Place resort is perfect for a family outing, regardless of your family’s size. Large 3-bedroom cabins as well as compact 1-bedroom ones as well.

All of the cabins come with a proper bathroom with a shower and a fully stocked kitchen. This gives you access to a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and utensils. So, you don’t have to bring any of these yourselves. Color TVs are also an addition that kids would like. Some of the cabins also come with fire pits, picnic tables, and barbeque grills.
